the SPL Private Client Dubai project

Futurefile were approached to help Strategic Planning with a large project in Dubai for a private client. The client was a multinational professional services network of firms. This client ranks as the second-largest professional services network in the world and is considered one of the Big Four accountancy firms.

Futurefile were appointed to work for Strategic Planning to assist the client’s internal team with a full consultancy service, tender process,

supply chain management and project management.  Assisting the appointed dealer and specifying furniture.

We put together a team to work alongside the architect SAY Studio, Ochre LLP, CBRE and the local furniture dealer Chelsea Green.  Our team consisted of a project director, specifier and project manager.  Working directly with the client and architects, we reviewed the initial space plans and made adjustments to offer greater flexibility in the various working environments, across 8 levels and 175,000 sq ft of office and executive spaces.  We specified furniture to align with the various architects’ ‘look and feel’, which included work benches, sit/stand benches, soft seating, meeting room, boardroom furniture, study bays, acoustic phonebooth, one to one acoustic meeting PODs, training room settings, reception furniture, library and café furniture.  We assisted procurement with a global furniture tender and budget management to help with reducing the overall furniture budget.

After working on this project for over 15 months, we made significant cost savings across the board without compromising the architects look and feel, delivered amazing spaces with high quality furniture and we helped deliver the project on-time during the global pandemic.  The complete project teams from SPL, SAY Studio, Ochre, CBRE and Chelsea Green worked seamlessly together for the client to deliver a high quality project.

The client is extremely pleased with all aspects of the project and invited the Dubai Crown Princess to officially open the building.

We look forward to working with the client again in the future.
